insbesondere f\u00fcr M\u00fctter, Kinder und Jugendliche<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bei der Verbesserung der Mutter-Kind-Gesundheit wurden bis zum Jahr 2017 weltweit gro\u00dfe Fortschritte erzielt: M\u00fctter- und Kindersterblichkeit reduzierten sich signifikant. Konflikt-, Klima- und Pandemie-bedingt stagniert diese Entwicklung seither und kehrt sich teilweise sogar um. Sch\u00e4tzungen zufolge, sterben jeden Tag 810 Frauen an Folgen von vermeidbaren Komplikationen w\u00e4hrend der Schwangerschaft oder Geburt (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unicef.org\/health\/maternal-and-newborn-health\" target=\"_blank\">UNICEF, 2020<\/a>). In 2019 starben 6,1 Millionen Jugendliche und Kinder durch vermeidbare Krankheiten. \u00dcber 5,2 Millionen dieser Todesf\u00e4lle betraf Kinder unter f\u00fcnf Jahren (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unicef.org\/health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNICEF, 2020<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die COVID-19 Pandemie versch\u00e4rft diese Situation. Expert*innen warnen davor, dass selbst ein leichter R\u00fcckgang bei der Versorgung rund um Schwangerschaft und Geburt zu einer deutlichen Zunahme an Todesf\u00e4llen bei M\u00fcttern und Neugeborenen f\u00fchren kann. Zudem laufen Pandemie-bedingt mehr als 47 Millionen Frauen in einkommensschwachen L\u00e4ndern Gefahr, den Zugang zu modernen Verh\u00fctungsmitteln zu verlieren, was im Umkehrschluss sieben Millionen ungewollte Schwangerschaften zur Folge haben k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Umgang der deutschen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit mit diesen Herausforderungen umfasst, neben kulturell und lokal angepassten Aufkl\u00e4rungsma\u00dfnahmen \u00fcber sexuelle und reproduktive Gesundheit, die Sicherung des Zugangs zu zuverl\u00e4ssigen Verh\u00fctungsmethoden. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wird Gesundheitspersonal in rechte-basierter Familienplanung, pr\u00e4- und postnataler Versorgung, Geburtshilfe sowie der Pr\u00e4vention und Behandlung sexuell \u00fcbertragbarer Krankheiten fortgebildet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Junge Menschen werden \u00fcber ma\u00dfgeschneiderte Vorhaben zur F\u00f6rderung eines gesunden Lebensstils, durch Programme an Schulen, spezielle Sprechstunden f\u00fcr junge Menschen und die interaktive Aufkl\u00e4rungsmethode \u201aMitmachparcours\u2018 gezielt angesprochen.
