darauf ab, dass alle Menschen Zugang zu angemessener Gesundheitsversorgung haben, ohne dadurch in finanzielle Not zu geraten.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jeder Mensch hat das\u202f<strong>Recht<\/strong>\u202fauf das h\u00f6chste erreichbare Ma\u00df an k\u00f6rperlicher und geistiger\u202f<strong>Gesundheit<\/strong>&nbsp;(Vereinte Nationen, 1966). Dennoch hat mehr als die H\u00e4lfte der Weltbev\u00f6lkerung derzeit keinen Zugang zu einer angemessenen Gesundheitsversorgung. Mehr als 90 Millionen Menschen geraten jedes Jahr in extreme Armut (d.h. sie m\u00fcssen mit weniger als 1,90 US-Dollar pro Tag auskommen), weil sie die hohen Kosten f\u00fcr ihre Gesundheitsversorgung selbst tragen m\u00fcssen oder krankheitsbedingt nicht arbeiten k\u00f6nnen. Im Jahr 2005 haben sich daher alle Mitgliedsstaaten der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (<em>World Health Organisation<\/em>, WHO) dem Ziel der umfassenden sozialen Absicherung im Krankheitsfall (<em>Universal Health Coverage<\/em>, UHC) verpflichtet, demgem\u00e4\u00df alle Menschen Zugang zu einer angemessenen Gesundheitsversorgung haben sollen, ohne dadurch in finanzielle Not zu geraten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universelle soziale Absicherung im Krankheitsfall bedeutet, dass jeder Mensch universellen Zugang zu einer angemessenen, umfassenden, diskriminierungs- und barrierefreien sowie f\u00fcr alle Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen erschwinglichen Gesundheitsversorgung hat, die gesundheitsf\u00f6rdernde, pr\u00e4ventive, diagnostische, therapeutische, rehabilitative und palliative Produkte und Dienstleistungen des Gesundheitssystems umfasst.<\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/en\/news-room\/fact-sheets\/detail\/universal-health-coverage-(uhc)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WHO, 2019<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Partnerl\u00e4nder beim Erreichen der universellen sozialen Absicherung im Krankheitsfall zu unterst\u00fctzen, ist ein Schwerpunkt der deutschen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit.
