Young people, people living with disabilities, and people living in fragile settings continue to be among the least able to realise their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and are vulnerable to discrimination, violence and illness. Safeguarding SRHR for these very groups lies at the heart of the 2030 Agenda vision for sustainable development. Read more

Lessons for the Future

Delegates at Lessons for the Future conference

During West Africa’s Ebola outbreak (2014-16) some 500 East African professionals from various disciplines supported their West African colleagues in responding to the epidemic. This conference brought together some of these professionals to share their experiences for the first time and to document the lessons learned so that these as a result of these can inform future responses to major disease outbreaks on the continent.
