Today a high school student, tomorrow a health worker?

A booklet about health careers for Liberian students and graduates

Like many countries, Liberia faces an acute shortage of health workers and high attrition rates. Attracting smart and motivated young people to the health workforce is therefore a priority for Liberia’s Ministry of Health. A booklet developed with support from German Cooperation informs high school students about the variety of health professions needed. It aims to help young people make the right career choices and address the professional and gender imbalances in the workforce.
